Embark on an Adventure
When we arrived at the infamous Flying Hanuman adventure park, we were greeted by amazing staff and signed in and sat in the lobby waiting for our professional guides to get us strapped in, in our harness gear and begin our journey. After a short safety briefing, and buckled into my snugly harness and helmet before I Embark up to the hill and onto the first cable by friendly staff. Peering down the steep slope, canopy trees swayed 30 meters below where the cable stretched to the next distant peak. With my guide’s cue, I leapt off the wooden platform, heart jumping into my throat.
As we drifted around tight corners, cool air whipping against our faces. Up ahead I could see cables suspended high between treetops and mountainsides on route to take flight over the rainforest by zip-line. My heart raced faster than what I expected as we walked uphill to our journey to zip-line across the lush green forest.The sensation was incredible soaring over lush jungle as my guide pointed out the beautiful views of the city from the view point of the jungle. I screamed with sheer delight at the thrill of flying high over the rainforest, my apprehension vanishing instantly.
Landing safely on the far platform, my guide unhooked me so I could take in the views, and get ready for the next zip-line rope as the visitors continue to come across to the platform.During your journey you can see bright tropical butterfly fluttering through the canopies and trees. Below the beautiful lush green jungle forest you can see others playing below at the other adventure discoveries that packages that we have. The city and the sunshine sparkled in the distance. As I was re-energized for our next stage a heart-pounding 1.3 kilometer ride to really pick up speed.
As I braced myself as we pushed off, immediately hurtling downhill at exhilarating velocity. The ride was impossibly smooth, my shoulders relaxed as I freely looked all around, completely enthralled by the spectacular scenery in every direction. My smile couldn’t have been wider soaring rapidly over the lush green landscape, cool air whizzing past my ears.
We gently slowed toward the next stop – a secluded wooden hut perched atop towering stilts offering 360-degree vistas of sheer wilderness in all directions. My guide pointed toward the sea visible on the horizon, naming a constellation of tropical islands that lay just beyond.
After a short rest to take in the sweeping panoramas, we raced off by buggy to the final stage – a jaw-dropping 3 kilometer ride over multiple valley crossings. This time I let out loud whoops of exhilaration zooming over rivers and waterfalls hundreds of feet below at what felt like jet speed along the lengthy cable route back to home base.
My smile hadn’t left since taking flight on that very first line. After unclipping for the last time, I gazed up longingly at the cables stretching skyward over lush mountains wishing I could stay suspended all afternoon above this spectacular rainforest wonderland thanks to the epic thrills at Flying Hanuman. Driving back through thick jungle foliage toward civilization once more, I knew I would be recounting this adrenaline-charged adventure for years to come!
